Midnight Express is the Bullet Train team's friendly, easy going junior member. He sets the mood for the team with a cheerful, fun-loving attitude that will have everyone feeling upbeat - yet when it comes to the enemy, he's tough and unrelenting. He's good in the cold: he melts snow with his heat missiles and slices icebergs down to size with his light swords.

- decent articulation including vertical rotation for bot head
- authentic vehicle mode
- Rail Racer's yellow colour originates from Rapid Run
- largest bot amongst the three
- shoulder wings in bot mode are pretty cool
- great-looking robot face

Dislikes
- legs in bot mode are too huge (minimal difference from Rail Racer's legs); body too small
- vehicle mode is the most unshapely of the three; nose of train looks clumsy
- RID bots come with no character art
