Grimlock
"Among the winners, there is no room for the weak."

Most fearsome and powerful Dinobot. Although dedicated to the Autobot cause, resents authority. Cold merciless, but a valiant warrior. Has contempt for the weak, including all humans. Great strength, uses jaws to break almost anything in two. Carries energo sword and galaxial rocket launcher in Dinobot mode. Other than arrogance and lack of speed, has no real weakness.

- G1 homage
- mechanical beasts - I like!
Dislikes
- limited articulation in bot and beast modes
- bot and beast modes are not very proportionate; beast head is too huge and badly positioned in bot mode
- bot mode cannot stand very well
- no weapons; what happened to the sword?
- and now Grimlock is shorter than Swoop by quite a bit - there goes the awe and fear that used to be associated with Grimlock
- fists don't work; the holes are too small for standard Energon weapons
Mega Dinobot
- very little spare parts to hide, unlike other combining bots in the Energon series
- very flimsy!
- transformation design is fairly ingenious, if not for the lack of sturdiness; should've stayed in the drawing board longer
- limited articulation
- colours are too kiddish; they should've painted Swoop in red/grey scheme as well, which is true to its G1 affiliation
- bot head is positioned too much to the front
- Swoop's wings could've been better utilised
